Returns and Shipping Policy

Refunds & Returns

We want you to be happy with the products you purchase from Gift&Ware online. With this in mind, our returns policy is as follows; 

(Please note that the following refunds and returns policy is applicable to items ordered from Gift&Ware online only. For in-store returns please call us at  0421811892 or email us at brooke@giftandware.com)

 Should you feel the item ordered online is not right for you, we are happy to exchange, provide a credit note, or a refund (on full price items only) given your order meets the following criteria:

  • For a full refund (less shipping), you need to notify us via email at brooke@giftandware.com, provide your proof of purchase (email receipt and/or order number) and return the product within 10 days of receiving your goods, quoting your full name, shipping address, order number and the reason for your request to return the goods. We will only accept the return of goods and provide a Store Credit or refund if the item is in its original condition, has its original packaging in place and proof of purchase/payment receipt can be presented.  This applies to full price items only. No refunds, exchanges or credit notes on sale items
  • Once we have received your returned goods, we will notify you via email and advise you of your Store Credit or refund entitlement. Please note, we are unable to credit the original shipping costs unless the item was found to be faulty or the wrong item sent. The cost of returning the item to us will be at the expense of the customer unless the item was found to have a major problem, the item is faulty or the wrong item was sent. In this case, we will require evidence by way of a photo of the product emailed to us before a refund or Store Credit is arranged. We put all our efforts into checking every item before despatch and we use high quality packing materials to ensure the safe arrival of your purchased item.
  • For an exchange or credit note, you need to contact us and return the item to us within 10 days of receiving it.
  • All item(s) being returned must be in a new condition, with no damage to the item or the packaging.
  • Any refund amount will be less than the shipping charge. If you received free shipping on your original order a $10 processing fee will be deducted from your store credit/refund amount to cover any shipping and handling expenses.
  • We recommend you use a registered post or a trackable courier when returning an item, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.
  • Shipping charges will be waived only if the returned item is faulty.
  • Any credit notes issued will be valid until used (there is no expiry date on credit notes or gift vouchers.
  • Refunds or credit notes are only processed once the original item has been returned to us and meets the above criteria.

Items excluded from return policy

  • All sale or discounted items
  • We do not provide refunds for earrings or hair products for sanitary reasons
  • Gift Cards
  • Items purchased in-store (must be returned in-store)

Exchanges (if applicable)

If you need to exchange an item for any reason, send us an email at brooke@giftandware.com with your full name, shipping address, order number and the reason for your exchange. Please title the email 'EXCHANGE.' 

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused, and in the same condition that you received it. A Gift&Ware staff member will assist you shortly after your email to work out a suitable resolution for your inquiry. Note that an exchange is not a given and will be decided on a case by case basis. If you do get approved for an exchange, you will be responsible for returning the item at your own expense.

Please note that earrings and hair accessories cannot be returned due to health requirements.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only full priced items may be returned or exchanged as above, unfortunately, sale items or clearance items cannot be returned or refunded. All sale items are final sale.

 

Shipping Information

We aim to dispatch all orders from warehouse within 24 hours of being received (excluding Weekends and Public Holidays). 

Same day Delivery (Local Brisbane CBD)

We pride ourselves in offering a free same day delivery service for all orders that are located within the 4069 postcode. Our web store platform will pick up your eligibility based on the postcode you enter upon checkout. If you are eligible for Same Day Delivery, this will appear as a shipping method at checkout. Note that all orders must be made before 12pm noon Local Brisbane time to be delivered the same day. 

The web store platform does not pick up the local time and therefore you will be able to process your order after 12pm but to give our staff enough time to package and prepare all orders on the day, our manual control cut-off is 12pm, and as such, any orders placed after 12pm will be processed and delivered the following business day. 

Shipping Rates

Our aim at Gift&Ware is to provide you with a smooth online shopping experience, with the best value and reliable shipping and delivery.  Australia Post Service is used to deliver our goods Australia Wide. The shipping rates supplied at checkout are the exact rate supplied by our shipping partner, which will be calculated to your address from our Head Office address in Brookfield Qld, 4069. 

The rates are calculated by dimensions and weights of each product. 

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship items outside of Australia at this current time. We hope to offer this service as soon as possible. 

Delivery

Gift&Ware uses Australia Post to deliver goods within Australia. Other shipping providers are used for larger orders when required. 

Please also allow up to two business days for your order to be processed. You will receive a notification from us via email once your order has been shipped. We will at all times put every effort into sending out the goods as quickly as possible within a timely manner. When estimating the arrival of your goods please consider the following:

  • There will be no dispatch of goods over weekends and public holidays

Gift&Ware is not responsible for any items that go missing, stolen, delayed in transit or not delivered correctly by Australia Post.  

 

Wrapping & Packaging

All items purchased from Gift&Ware are wrapped in appropriate packing materials to ensure the safe arrival of your purchase. If you require gift wrapping please ensure that you indicate this for each item prior to checkout. Simply leave us a comment at checkout to confirm whether you would like your item gift wrapped or not.
